Joined together November 16th and 17th in Marseilles, the Network of the Mediterranean authorities of regulation (RIRM) adopted a Joint Declaration, entitled “For a regulation of audio-visual renovated in the digital environment”.

At the time of the day birthday of the International Convention of the rights of the child, the CSA, which has the role of protecting the young public, will launch, on Monday, November 20, 2017, its countryside on descriptive youth. Two slogans are put forward: “The violent images one must avoid them, if not it is necessary to speak about it” and “the shocking images one must avoid them, if not it is necessary to speak about it”.
The 19th general meeting of the Network of the Mediterranean authorities of regulation (RIRM) opened Thursday, November 16, 2017. The presidency of the RIRM was entrusted to the CSA by Mr. Josep Maria Guinart, member of the Council of the CNMC and president of the RIRM this year. Marseilles accommodates the RIRM, the Network of the Mediterranean authorities of regulation, Thursday the 16th and Friday, November 17, 2017. The Mediterranean regulators of audio-visual will work there on the weight of digital in the audio-visual regulation, in particular when it is a question of ensuring social cohesion.
WorldDab holds this year its general meeting in Paris November 7th and 8th, 2017. This international forum devoted to the digital radio brings together actors and experts of the sector. For the CSA, this go is the occasion to present its strategy of cover in Usually + for the three years to come.
The CSA is questioned on the possibility, for the pluri-media groups, to resort to the promotion crossed between their various media (television, radio, SMAD, Internet, press). In order to clarify its reflection, the Council wishes to collect the observations of the various actors concerned. The answers to the public consultation will have to be addressed at the latest on December 4th, 2017.
The Observatory of the audio-visual equipment of the hearths publishes the results of the 1st half of 2017. The multiplication of the screens in the hearths of metropolis is confirmed with approximately 5.5 types of screens per hearth (television, computer, mobile phone, shelf tactile). The television set remains however one of the most widespread objects.
