A new charter of deontology for the CSA

Official statement of the Wednesday, May 2, 2018

The Superior council of audio-visual publishes this day his new professional ethics charter.

She points out the principles and the rules in force, resulting in particular from the law carrying general status of the AAI (independent administrative authorities) and API (independent public authorities) of January 20th, 2017 and comprises recommendations of good practices. The charter, which applies so much to the members than with the agents of the CSA, is intended to inform them on their obligations and to protect them from the risks to which they can be exposed. This charter replaces the code of conduct of the members of the Council of February 4th, 2003 and the professional ethics charter of the agents of December 11th, 2008.

The charter of deontology expresses the transparency of the CSA in the exercise of his role and the independence of the institution with respect to the authorities and actors of the sector.
