Emission “Bruno in the radio”: intervention at Fun Radio

Publication date: Monday, April 20, 2015
Plenary assembly of February 25th, 2015

The Council intervened with Fun Radio following the diffusion, on October 15th, 2014 at 8:42, during the morning emission Bruno in the radio, of a promotional announcement for the emission Lovin' Fun containing the extract of an exchange of raw and explicit remarks relating to female sexuality.

The Council estimated that the choice of this extract was inappropriate in comparison with the schedule of its diffusion, pursuant to the deliberation of February 10th, 2004 relating to child protection and the adolescence which provides “that no program likely to harm blooming physical, mental or moral of the minors is not placed at the disposal of the public by a service of sound broadcasting, except when it is ensured by the choice of the hour of diffusion that minors are not normally likely to hear them. Thus, no service of sound broadcasting must diffuse between 6:00 and 22:30 of programs likely to run up against the sensitivity of the listeners of less than 16 years “.
