Reception of the DVB by the antenna “rake”

Technical sides of the DVB

The plan of passage is the plan of frequencies which was commissioned at the time of the stop of the analogical diffusion (November 2011) in order to ensure the continuity of reception of the analogical services in digital mode. The adjusted plan is the plan of frequencies which was commissioned in certain zones in order to respect the international agreements of coordination of Geneva 2006. The target plan is the plan of digital frequencies final which was commissioned at the time of the deployment of the seventh and eighth multiplexing, which diffuse 6 new chains HD in December 2012 launched. The plan says “band 700” is the plan of frequencies gradually implemented of April 5th, 2016 (phase 0) at July 2019 and which will allow the reassignment from approximately 30% of the frequencies, up to that point used for the diffusion of the DVB, at the departments of communication electronics (4G/LTE 700).

Technical requirements of diffusion

During the modification of an individual frequency, or the passage of a plan of frequencies with another, the CSA defines the maximum and minimal conditions of radiation (in the form of gauge of radiated apparent power) for certain important transmitters as well as the objectives of cover inside zones of digitalization for the other transmitters. The gauges of apparent power radiated for the important transmitters as well as the zones of digitalization of the complementary network are consultable below.

Deployment of new chains HD

The deployment of the new chains in high definition, initially carried by the multiplexings R7 and R8, ended in April 2016 in the lighting of the only R7 multiplexing in Rhône-Alpes zone following the recombining of the audiovisual landscape of April 5th, 2016.

Radioelectric operations of April 5th, 2016

Two radioelectric operations took place the following on April 5th, 2016 and days, after migration of the totality of offer DVB since eight towards six multiplexings : end of the deployment of the R7 multiplexing in Rhône-Alpes zone, and of the operations of refittings in and around the Ile-de-France in order to allow a fast electronic deployment of the departments of communication on the area:

Later phases of release of band 700 MHz

These phases take place from October 2017 to July 2019. Refittings of frequencies on the networks R1, R2, R3, R4, R6 and R7 are to be envisaged to allow the reassignment of band 700 MHz to the mobile telephone operators. These modifications can require technical amendments on the community aerials, in particular on the filters possibly set up, which will have to be carried out by a antennist.
