The CSA, the DGMIC, the CNC, the Access. and the SNPTV publishes the 15th edition of the Guide of the digital channels

The higher Council of audio-visual (CSA), the Directorate-General of the media and cultural industries (DGMIC) of the Ministry for the Culture, the national Center of the cinema and the animated image (CNC), the Association of the Officially agreed Chains editors of Services (Access.) and the National Trade union of Televised Publicity (SNPTV) joined once again to publish the fifteenth edition of the Guide of the digital chains. Making of this guide was coordinated by the agency Clair de Lune. 

This guide, work tools of the professionals of the media, offers a complete description of the universe of the French chains authorized for a free or paying hertzian diffusion on the DVB or officially agreed by SCUMS. It thus makes it possible to measure the great wealth of the offer of digital channels in France as well as the diversity of the distribution networks. 

Its first part presents the offer of chains, their modes of reception and distribution, their audiences, their economic performances, their investments in the production and a presentation of the legal news of the year 2016. In appendix, a synthesis of the actions in favour of social cohesion and the fight against discriminations in the field of the audio-visual communication as well as the key figures on the evolution of paid television. 

The second part present, in the form of cards, 135 chains authorized or officially agreed or measured by Médiamétrie. Their positioning, the networks on which they are diffused, the share of the various kinds of programs which they program, their advertising agency are in particular indicated. 

The drafting of this guide was very largely based on the statistics, reports and studies carried out by the CSA, the Ministry for the Culture and the CNC.
